Public transport as a feeder and return service when hiking. This runs daily from May to September in the entire region (Salzburger Sportwelt & Obertauern). With the Flachau Summer Card , the Sportweltbus can be used for €1.00 per journey . Additional information: All buses in the region (to Obertauern, Filzmoos, St. Johann, Grossarltal) can be used from 01 May to 03 November 2024 for EUR 1.00 per person with the Flachau Guest Card.
If you want to take it a little easier, you can take a lift taxi from Bergbahnen Flachau to the top. The Starjet 1 and 2 chairlifts take you up to the beautiful Grießenkar hiking area. From the mountain station, you can enjoy a leisurely high-altitude hike up to the summit tour on the 1,991m high Grießenkareck.
